A queue forming at the till? You’ll be the first to jump in and help keep things moving. A display plate of mince ready to go? You’ll instinctively put it out rather than wait for someone else. It’s these small but important actions that make a real difference.

We’re looking for a friendly, respectful, and team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. At S Collins & Son, our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we need a team member who shares our commitment to quality, efficiency, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence – Provide a warm, friendly, and professional service, ensuring every customer has an exceptional experience.
Till & Counter Service – Efficiently process customer transactions, assist with orders, and offer product recommendations.
Stock Management – Keep displays fully stocked, well-presented, and ensure all products are rotated for freshness.
Food Hygiene & Safety – Adhere to all hygiene regulations, ensuring high cleanliness standards in food preparation and serving areas.
Team Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues to keep the store running smoothly, jumping in to assist wherever needed.
General Cleaning Duties – Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:

A naturally friendly and approachable personality, with a passion for delivering top-tier customer service.
A proactive mindset – someone who spots what needs to be done and takes action without hesitation.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage positively with both customers and colleagues.
A strong work ethic, with a flexible attitude and a willingness to adapt to the needs of the business.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is beneficial but not essential—enthusiasm and the right attitude matter most!
