Full job description

Pilgrim’s Europe is a leading food manufacturer, and we are currently looking for RTE Mixing room operative to join our dedicated team in Grantham. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive workplace with great opportunities for development.

Salary starts from £519, £27 007 per year

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday - 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00 alternating

Job Purpose

To efficiently operate, maintain, and manage heavy-duty mixing machinery while ensuring seamless workflow in a high-pressure production environment. The role demands exceptional physical capability, technical problem-solving skills, and teamwork to meet stringent production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Demands

Heavy lifting (lifting up to 25kg baskets) and pushing loads of 180–200 kg.
Standing for 90% of the shift with frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
Operating in environments with moderate noise and cold.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Physical Capability: Demonstrated ability to handle heavy manual tasks repetitively.
Technical Aptitude: Experience operating industrial machinery; mechanical assembly skills preferred.
Stress Resilience: Thrives under pressure with minimal supervision.
Problem-Solving: Quickly identifies and resolves operational bottlenecks.
Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a skilled team.
Experience: Prior work in manufacturing, warehousing, or similar physically demanding roles
