Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team as subcontractor, supporting various construction projects. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn new skills. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic environment, working on diverse tasks that contribute to the successful completion of projects. The position is paid and suitable for individuals interested in developing a career within the construction sector.

Duties

Operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively
Supporting excavation activities using excavators and other machinery
Performing general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, repairing, and inspecting equipment
Assisting with construction activities including site preparation and material handling
Ensuring work areas are safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Supporting team members with various labouring tasks as required on-site

Skills

Experience in construction and building
Mechanical knowledge beneficial for operating machinery and tools
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment
Basic understanding of construction processes and site safety procedures
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Physically fit with good stamina for manual labour tasks
Strong teamwork ethic with good communication skills
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements
