Paint shop operative

The position will be based in the Paint shop Department, within a team of people who manufacture high quality products for our customers.

Responsibilities

Operating paint machinery
Setting paint machinery
Loading and unloading paint plant (only when needed - full time sprayer)
Handling metal material
Meeting specific departmental & company targets
Checking and testing manufactured products
Follow systems / procedures within the department, including Health & Safety regulations, Housekeeping, Work Instructions, 5S & Quality

Skills, Experience & Person Specification

Computer literate & basic mathematics
Ability to work as part of a team
Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
Experience using similar machinery preferable
Understanding mechanical drawings for masking products prior to powder coating
Full training will be given

Hours are 06:00 – 14:30 Monday to Thursday and Friday 06:00 - 13:30
