Full job description

Please note this role is to be full-time, Monday to Friday.

Job Purpose:
To provide efficient administrative and financial support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the care home. The role requires strong organisational skills and experience with accounting systems, particularly Sage 50 Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, correspondence, and record keeping
Use Sage 50 Accounts for invoicing and maintaining accurate resident and financial records
Handle phone calls, emails, and general enquiries professionally
Support compliance with care sector regulations and documentation requirements
Liaise with management, staff and resident’s

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience using Sage 50 Accounts
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Desirable:

Experience in financial data entry
Previous experience working within the care sector
Understanding of care home administration and compliance
Experience working in a small office environment

Reliable and trustworthy
Professional and approachable
Able to manage workload independently
Strong communication skills
