Due to the remote location of Glass House Retreat, all applicants MUST have a driving license and access to a car. Public transport routes do not service our location.
We are looking for a wellness manager:
Full Time Position, 42.5 hours per week, shift work, including at least 2 weekends a month.
The role will also include open and closing management shifts.
To be considered you need to be able to deliver more than one discipline of class. You will not only be able to take classes, but also support the smooth running of the wellness offerings here at the Glass House Retreat. You will also have a hand in introducing new workshops and classes at Glass House. Our current offering is leading our morning walk, taking classes, assisting customers while they are in our cryotherapy chamber, facilitating PT sessions, wellness talks, interacting with guests and making a real impact on their stay with us.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing a team, have excellent customer service skills, deliver a variety of fitness classes, be confident in speaking and delivering workshops, be able to work weekends (this is a must) and be flexible with hours, available to cover shifts when needed.
Glass House Retreat is the UK’s first purpose-built detox and wellness retreat. Within our brand new, visionary, state of the art retreat facility, we will provide our guests with expert support, including progressive fitness facilities and classes, wellness and mindfulness talks, cryotherapy, luxury spa and beauty treatments, and specialist nutricioous diets.
We're looking for a manager to cover a range of different classes:
· Pilates
· Yoga
· Weights
· Circuit training
We want every class to be fun and enjoyable for all that are attending and for our fitness instructors to know they have made a difference in our customer’s lives.
As Wellness Manager you must;
· Have a Level 3 Personal Training Qualification as minimum
· Previous leisure/hospitality experience
· Experience in managing a team
· Ability to motivate
· Passionate about fitness
· Able to live by the Glass House values
· Be diverse in your approach
