Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Children's Intensive Intervention Professional to join our team. This role involves providing specialised support and intervention to children with complex needs, ensuring their development and well-being are prioritised. The successful candidate will work closely with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to deliver tailored care plans within a nurturing environment. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while developing specialised skills in intervention and support.

Duties

Deliver individualised intervention programmes designed to meet each child's specific needs, following established care plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and healthcare providers, to coordinate effective support strategies
Monitor and document children's progress regularly, adjusting approaches as necessary to optimise outcomes
Support children in developing social, emotional, and behavioural skills through engaging activities and positive reinforcement
Maintain accurate records of interventions, progress notes, and communication with families and team members
Assist in organising training sessions or workshops aimed at enhancing intervention techniques and professional development
Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all children under your care

Skills

Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping, reporting, and communication purposes
Demonstrated leadership qualities to guide children through their developmental activities confidently
Ability to develop and implement personalised care plans tailored to individual children's needs
Compassionate approach with a strong commitment to supporting children's emotional and behavioural growth
Organised with the capacity to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about child development and committed to making a positive impact through specialised intervention work. Pay: £28.00-£40.00 per hour
