Job Overview

Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Nursery Nurse Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a nurturing environment for young children to learn, grow, and thrive. In this role, you will support qualified nursery staff in delivering high-quality childcare, ensuring each child's safety and well-being are prioritized. Your proactive approach and caring nature will contribute to a positive, engaging atmosphere that fosters early development and lifelong love of learning. Responsibilities

Assist nursery staff in supervising children during daily activities, playtime, and mealtimes to promote safety and engagement
Support the implementation of age-appropriate educational activities that stimulate early childhood development
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by following health and safety guidelines at all times
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure clear understanding of daily routines and individual needs
Support management in monitoring children's progress and behavior, providing feedback to senior staff as needed
Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping, attendance tracking, and preparing learning materials
Drive or accompany children on outings or trips when required, ensuring their safety throughout

Qualifications

Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is highly desirable
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
Demonstrated management and leadership abilities to support team coordination and child supervision
Childcare qualifications or nursery experience are preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
Valid driving license is advantageous for transporting children or supporting outdoor activities
Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, or weekends as needed
