Full job description

Job Title: Estimator - Full Time

Company: J3 Roofing & Facades

Location: London / South East

Hours / Salary: Upto £70,000

Must-Haves

Experience: Proven track record estimating roofing and/or façade packages.
Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of envelope systems (zinc, rainscreen, SFS, flat roofing).
Software: Proficient in Bluebeam, estimating software, and Excel take-offs.

The Role & Company

J3 Roofing & Facades is a fast-growing specialist contractor delivering top-tier building envelope solutions. You will manage tenders from initial enquiry to handover, driving our commercial growth through accurate, compliant estimation and strong stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed estimates, take-offs, and BOQs from drawings and specifications.
Produce value engineering options and project risk assessments.
Manage tender deadlines, submissions, and post-tender handovers to the contracts team.
Liaise closely with clients, main contractors, and suppliers.

Desirable Extras

Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
Knowledge of current Building Regulations and façade compliance standards.
Experience with Design & Build projects.
