Salary: £28,080 (Base) + approx. £2,700 in tronc/tips = £30,784 Typical Annual Package

The Opportunity

A stone’s throw from the beach and framed by salt marshes, The Ship in Brancaster is the second Norfolk opening from the award-winning team behind Sculthorpe Mill. We are looking for a vibrant, organized Restaurant Supervisor to join our mission of delivering "friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm" service.

The Role

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you are the "engine" of the floor. You will:

Lead by Example: Run busy shifts with a hands-on approach, ensuring every guest feels genuinely welcome.
Support the GM: Assist in the daily operations of a high-volume restaurant with rooms and a large outdoor space.
Mentor the Team: Help train and develop our front-of-house staff, building a knowledgeable team on the inspiration for the menu, wine list and local drinks.
Maintain Standards: Ensure opening/closing checklists, H&S, and licensing requirements are met perfectly.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience at a Supervisory level in a high-quality gastro pub or restaurant.
A Natural Host: Someone with the emotional intelligence to handle a busy service with grace and warmth.
Reliability: A "can-do" attitude and a desire to be part of a community-focused team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £30,784.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Brancaster PE31: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
