Job Overview
We are a family run business seeking a highly organised and efficient Administration Assistant to provide support within our office environment.

This role involves managing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. The successful candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent organisational abilities, and professional phone etiquette. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your administrative expertise within a small team.

Responsibilities

Managing incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, directing enquiries as appropriate
Organising and maintaining files, records, and documents both digitally and physically
Assisting with data entry tasks using programmes such as Microsoft Office
Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations accurately and efficiently
Scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for team members
Invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping activities
Handling general administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, and mailing
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and well-organised to optimise productivity

Qualifications

Proven office experience or administrative experience is highly desirable
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Demonstrated typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Good phone etiquette with clear communication skills
Ability to work independently whilst also supporting team members as needed
Familiarity with clerical procedures and data management systems
