Full job description

We are is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Tax Manager to oversee our tax department. The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of taxation for our clients, providing expert guidance on tax compliance, planning, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all tax-related activities for Fantox’s clients, including tax compliance, planning, and reporting.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws, regulations, and rulings, and communicate relevant updates to clients and internal teams.
Review and analyze client financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax requirements.
Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate, individual, partnership, and other tax forms, on behalf of clients.
Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings.
Assist clients with tax audits, inquiries, and disputes, representing their interests and advocating for favorable outcomes.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters.
Lead and mentor tax team members, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting, finance, and legal, to ensure alignment and integration of tax strategies.
Monitor and analyze tax-related risks and opportunities, recommending and implementing appropriate strategies and solutions.

Desired Skills:

Strong technical knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax issues and provide strategic advice.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain tax concepts to clients and colleagues.
Strong leadership and management abilities, with experience leading and developing a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in tax preparation and reporting.
Strong client service orientation, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.
Knowledge of international taxation and transfer pricing (preferred but not required).
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of taxation.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; master’s degree in taxation or CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting or related roles, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance, planning, and reporting for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
Experience working with a diverse client base in various industries and sectors.
Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and rulings at the local, state, and federal levels.
Experience managing tax audits, inquiries, and disputes, and representing clients before tax authorities.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Commitment to integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in tax matters.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Salary: as per experience

Schedule:

9:00 A.M to 5:00 PM
Monday to Saturday
