Matchday Sales Assistant (Age 16+)
As a Matchday Sales Assistant, you will support the Stadium Store team in delivering an excellent retail experience for supporters on matchdays, acting as a proud ambassador for West Ham United.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and engaging supporters in a friendly, professional manner
- Operating tills and processing transactions accurately
- Supporting stock replenishment and merchandising
- Assisting with shirt printing and product personalisation
- ️ Maintaining high standards of store presentation and cleanliness
- Supporting colleagues and management during busy periods
- Carrying out general retail duties as required
Additional Safeguarding for Under 18s:
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of younger staff members:
- A member of the store security team escorts under-18 staff to Stratford Station after shifts
- Under-18 staff are required to text the store mobile to confirm safe arrival home
- Matchday Disability Support Assistant (DSA) (Age 18+)
As a Disability Support Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring supporters with accessible needs receive a safe, welcoming, and inclusive matchday experience.
Job Purpose:
To support accessibility across the Stadium, assisting supporters from arrival through to departure, ensuring every fan feels supported and included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a friendly, visible presence inside and outside the stadium
- Assisting supporters with accessible needs, including entry, seating, and movement around the stadium

- Acting as an advocate for accessibility and inclusion
- ️ Working closely with stewards and stadium operations teams
- Remaining calm and professional in high-pressure or sensitive situations
- ️ Sharing knowledge of the Club and stadium to enhance supporter experience
Matchday Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) (Age 18+)
As a Supporter Liaison Officer, you will act as a key point of contact between supporters and the Club, helping ensure a positive and seamless matchday experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with supporters and providing information and assistance
- Acting as a visible point of contact inside and outside the stadium
- Handling queries, feedback, and concerns professionally and efficiently
- Supporting communication between supporters and Club departments

- Resolving issues quickly and effectively
- Working closely with stadium operations and matchday staff

Availability
All roles require availability for West Ham United men’s home matchdays as a minimum. There may also be opportunities to support:

The successful candidate agrees to proactively identify and respond appropriately to any concerns, and follow the Club's Safeguarding reporting procedures to report allegations of abuse, poor practice, or anything that may impact the welfare of a child, young person, or adult at risk without delay, within 24 hours, or as otherwise directed by the Club’s or the West Ham Foundation Safeguarding Team.
