Job Overview

Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Barback, where your energetic support and keen attention to detail will elevate the guest experience. As a vital behind-the-scenes contributor, you’ll assist bartenders by maintaining a well-stocked bar, ensuring cleanliness, and preparing the environment for seamless service. Your enthusiasm and proactive attitude will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic setting.

Duties

Restock bar supplies including spirits, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils to ensure smooth service throughout the shift
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste efficiently
Assist bartenders with food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks or preparing batches
Support the team by organizing storage areas and ensuring all equipment is in good working order
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address any immediate needs or issues
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times to provide a safe environment for staff and guests
Help manage inventory levels by tracking supplies and notifying management when restocking is required

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality environments such as restaurants, bars, hotels, or cafes is highly desirable
Familiarity with food preparation and serving techniques enhances your ability to support the team effectively
Experience working as a barista or in food service roles demonstrates strong customer service skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and engaging with guests professionally
Kitchen or hotel experience provides valuable insight into fast-paced service environments and multitasking under pressure
A background in hospitality roles that involve serving or supporting bartenders will help you excel in this position
