Business & Procurement Analyst

Path to Success Consultants Ltd

Location: Dumfries / Hawick, Scotland (with occasional travel across the UK)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £30,000–£40,000 per annum (depending on qualifications, skills, and experience)

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Business & Procurement Analyst to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a rewarding career in business consultancy and procurement while working on a diverse range of projects across the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify public and private sector tender opportunities.
Prepare high-quality tender submissions, bids, and supporting documentation.
Conduct business analysis, market research, and competitor analysis.
Support procurement processes and supplier relationship management.
Prepare professional reports, presentations, and business documentation.
Assist clients with procurement, compliance, and governance requirements.
Maintain accurate project, procurement, and contract records.
Liaise effectively with public sector organisations, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Support business development initiatives and strategic consultancy projects.

Essential Requirements

Degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Management, Procurement, Commerce, or a related discipline.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong analytical, research, and organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

Desirable Skills

Previous experience in procurement, tender management, or business analysis.
Knowledge of UK public sector procurement procedures.
Familiarity with Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), Find a Tender Service (FTS), or other procurement portals.
Excellent report-writing and stakeholder management skills.
