Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chambermaid/Cleaner to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Previous hotel or janitorial experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a professional environment committed to exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items as required
Assist with laundry duties when necessary and ensure linen is handled properly

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is desirable
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks efficiently
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest service

This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and enjoy working in a dynamic hospitality environment. We welcome applicants who are eager to learn and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
