Overview

Join our dynamic property management team as a Temp to Permanent Property Management Assistant! In this energetic role, you will be the vital support system ensuring smooth daily operations of our residential properties. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help maintain excellent tenant relations, streamline administrative processes, and support property the manager in delivering exceptional service. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in property management within a vibrant, fast-paced environment.

Duties

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
Liaise with contractors to arrange maintenance and repairs, obtain costings and ensure works are completed within reasonable timescales.
Monitor maintenance from initial report through to completion.
Communicate professionally with landlords regarding property maintenance, repairs and tenant-related issues.
Coordinate and carry out property inspections, identifying and recording any issues and ensuring appropriate follow-up action is taken.
Assist with ensuring properties meet relevant health and safety and compliance requirements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Ensure company processes, systems, policies and procedures are consistently followed.
Provide proactive advice and guidance to landlords to help ensure their properties are maintained to a high standard.
Maintain accurate property records and detailed notes.
Assist the Property Manager with the day-to-day management of the property portfolio.
Deal confidently and professionally with tenant enquiries and property-related issues.
Support the wider team with general property management and administrative duties when required.

Requirements

Previous office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Administrative experience supporting busy teams or departments
Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy under pressure
Basic understanding of real estate or property management industry is a plus
Willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly
Full driving licence
