We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Full time Home Care Assistant to join our amazing team here at Walfinch Woking and Guildford.

Pay rate - We offer excellent pay rates of £14.00 Weekdays and £15.75 on weekends PLUS 45p per Mile.
Please note: Due to the needs and requests of the people we care for, we are currently recruiting FEMALES only. This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement of this position in accordance with Schedule 9 of The Equality Act 2010.
Working times:
- We are flexible with working times, however all staff are expected to have some evening availability and work alternate weekends.
- All staff will be able to do a selection of early mornings or late evenings.
- All staff typically work between 7am and 10pm
- Early shift - 7am to 12pm shifts
- Mid shift - 12pm to 4pm shifts
- Afternoon shift - 2pm to 6pm shifts
- Evening shift - 6pm to 10pm shifts

Key responsibilities:
- We provide Care in the community in Clients own homes.
- We can assist client with shopping needs.
- Home care doesn't mean staying at home, it can be about getting out and about and thriving in the outdoors, or it can mean encouraging people to pick up their hobbies again.
- Personal care such as personal hygiene by bathing, brushing their hair and teeth or applying skincare.
- Making sure that the people you care for live happy, fun and independent lives.
- To provide one to one support, with day to day living tasks to enable people to thrive in their own homes and remain as independent and active for as long as they can. We follow the Mum Test.
- We tailor support to ensure the client still has control, peace of mind, they remain in familiar surroundings, their support plan is flexible, they are provided with companionship from friendly carers, and their care is cost affective to suit them and their needs.

- You’re a team player and can also use your initiative when you have to.
- You show a professional manner at all times.
- Friendly attitude towards all staff and clients.
- Your own car is needed for this role.
- Female staff only due to the needs of our Clients.
- We do not offer sponsorship.
- Able to work alternative weekends (this makes it fair for all staff).
