Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LIVE IN Bar Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar and hospitality services. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring exceptional service standards, and maintaining food safety and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality, leadership, and culinary arts to thrive in a dynamic environment. The position includes accommodation and is suitable for someone looking to develop their supervisory skills within a vibrant setting.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, ensuring efficient service delivery.
Oversee food preparation and ensure all culinary standards are met, maintaining high-quality food presentation.
Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and provide training to new staff members.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all operations.
Assist with cooking and food production when necessary, demonstrating culinary expertise.
Maintain stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to prevent shortages.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously.
Monitor the cleanliness of the bar area, ensuring it adheres to health and safety standards.
Handle guest complaints or issues promptly to uphold the establishment’s reputation.
Lead by example in hospitality practices, fostering a positive team environment.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or bar setting.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous.
Familiarity with culinary arts, food production processes, and kitchen operations.
Experience in managing stock levels and inventory control in a busy environment.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who possess strong leadership abilities and culinary knowledge. The position offers an enriching environment where you can grow your supervisory skills while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a welcoming setting.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
