Job Overview

Are you passionate about fashion and design, eager to bring creative visions to life for a dynamic small brand? We’re seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Creative Fashion Assistant to join our team! In this role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping our brand’s aesthetic through innovative design, digital content creation, and visual storytelling. Your enthusiasm and creative flair will help elevate our collections, online presence, and overall brand identity. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills within a vibrant, collaborative environment dedicated to pushing fashion boundaries. (As it is a growing brand, we’ll have to talk about the pay and how we’d do it because the pay mentioned was required by the platform, but if we talk it through during the interview I think you’ll understand better). This job is best for someone who’s passionate about the industry and wants to gain experience and training will be provided when needed.

Duties

Collaborate with the design team to develop mood boards, sketches, and conceptual visuals for upcoming collections using digital design tools.
Assist in creating compelling web content and layouts to enhance our online storefront and social media platforms through web design principles.
Capture high-quality product photography and edit images using Adobe Photoshop and other editing software to ensure visual consistency and appeal.
Support the development of promotional videos or motion graphics utilizing Adobe After Effects or Maya to showcase new designs creatively.
Contribute to graphic design projects such as lookbooks, marketing materials, and packaging using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
Assist in maintaining the brand’s visual identity across all digital platforms by applying graphic design best practices and style guidelines.

Qualifications

experience in digital design, graphic design, or fashion illustration with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills.
Proficiency in apps like canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) along with familiarity with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics.
Basic knowledge of web design principles including HTML and CSS is preferred but not required.
Strong photography skills with an eye for styling, composition, and editing techniques.
Familiarity with Sketch or other technical drawing tools used in fashion design.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. (Enthusiasm is a must)
