Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Clinic Administrator to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and a solid understanding of medical terminology. The Clinic Administrator will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient service and supporting clinical staff to provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Managing patient appointments and scheduling using Microsoft Outlook and specialised clinic software Emis and others.
Greeting patients and providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
Maintaining accurate patient records and updating information using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as needed
Handling correspondence via email and phone calls efficiently and professionally
Organising administrative documentation, reports, and filing systems
Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards
Supporting IT systems maintenance and troubleshooting basic technical issues
Managing incoming enquiries and providing clear information to patients and visitorsRequirements
Proven administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare setting
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable, either a para medical or science background
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
Basic IT skills for troubleshooting common technical issues
Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamThis role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment while developing your administrative expertise within the medical field.

Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
