Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Porter and become an essential part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this lively role, you’ll be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient environment. Your energy and attention to detail will help maintain the high standards of hygiene and safety that our guests expect. Responsibilities

Wash, scrub, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards
Assist with food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and basic ingredient handling
Maintain an organized workspace by sorting and storing clean items properly
Support the kitchen team during busy service times by ensuring all areas are stocked and ready for use
Dispose of waste responsibly and manage recycling procedures in accordance with health regulations
Help with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and back-of-house areas to ensure a safe environment
Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain hygiene compliance

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
Familiarity with health and safety standards related to food handling is advantageous
A genuine interest in hospitality, cooking, or culinary arts is a plus
