We specialise in parcel and pallet delivery, collection, storage, and fulfilment services. Our award-winning service for UPN, and Palletways reflects our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Summary

The role as a Transport Planner is vital in coordinating our logistics operations to ensure timely deliveries and efficient supply chain management. Based in Witham, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing company dedicated to providing top-tier transportation solutions.

Hours

Monday to Friday 9:30am - 7:30pm

Saturday Mornings on Rota 1/3

Responsibilities

Planning and scheduling daily transport routes to optimise efficiency
Coordinating with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
Monitoring delivery progress and resolving any logistical issues promptly
Collaborating with management to improve processes and service quality
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Utilizing logistics software and Microsoft Office tools for planning and reporting
Providing excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries related to transportation schedules.

Skill Required

Proven experience in logistics or transportation planning
Strong management and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills in English
Good knowledge of CM post code area
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel

Preferred Skills

Valid driving license suitable for commercial vehicle
Knowledge of supply chain management systems
Leadership experience within a transport or logistics environment
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
