Full job description

Mr Pizza is an independent, family run takeaway in Brighouse town centre and we are looking for a Cook/Pizza/Grillchef to join our team.

If you have experience of a busy, commercial kitchen and have a passion for providing excellent customer service then why not come and join us!

Applicants must be available to work between 5pm and 10pm Friday and Sunday 5pm to 2am on Saturdays

Duties

As a Cook/PizzaGrill chef you be responsible for -

Making and preparing fresh pizza dough

Cooking of pizzas, various kebabs and burgers

Preparing and chopping fresh vegetables and salad items.

Monitor and maintain kitchen cleaning schedules ensuring that all areas of the kitchen are immaculately clean.

Comply with all Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and C.O.S.H.H regulations and complete all relevant paperwork.

Be knowledgeable about all our menu items and be able to comfortably answer any customer queries.

Deliver the highest levels of customer service that encourages return custom and feedback.

Skills

Must have experience in a similar role and a understanding of a commercial kitchen.

Knowledge of Food Hygiene, preparation & storage.

To communicate and work confidently within a small team.

Ability to follow instructions quickly.

Open, honest & a keenness to learn.

Be able to multi task and work under pressure.

Good personal skills, care about the product and the customers.

Organised, friendly and approachable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
