Full job description

Overview
An opportunity has arisen for the role of Warehouse Coordinator to become an integral member of our Warehouse team. This role will focus predominantly on the picking & preparation of daily consignments.

This role is based on-site at our Warehouse & Distribution site, Eastwood Street, Bradford.

Responsibilities

Promoting a safety-first culture for warehouse & distribution operations.
Ensuring the warehouse department is represented in a professional manner.
Attending monthly Business Improvement Meetings to contribute to business & process improvement.
Embracing the 5S methodology.
Receiving deliveries, unloading & storing products using forklift trucks.
Entering purchase receipts onto Navision software.
Picking & preparing customer orders ready for despatch (Manual Handling up to 25 kilos will be required).
Processing orders using handheld devices.
Loading goods onto delivery vehicles using forklift trucks
Ensuring customer orders are available to load on time.
Communicating effectively with the rest of the team & other stakeholders.
Assisting & providing cover for colleagues.

Essential Criteria

Good numeracy skills.
Computer literate.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Flexible and willing to undertake a broad range of tasks.
Commitment to 5S and business improvement.

Desirable Criteria

Hold a Reach FLT license.
Hold a Counterbalance FLT license.
Warehouse Management System experience
Full UK driving license.
