Retail Support Coordinator
Location Sittingbourne, Kent
Hours: 24hrs per week - 3 days
Rate: £14.90 per hr
This is a fixed term role for 5 months August to December
Purpose
The Retail Operations team are the bridge between Head Office and multi-channel retail. Supporting shops with running a Bricks & Mortar, Local Delivery and Click and Collect business. Be the first line of support for our shops on the phone and via email
Collaborating with other teams you always seek improvements, are retail focused and support new working practices by providing clear communications and instructions for our shop teams. instruction one pagers and daily emails.
Collating key information from across the business and delivering it in a timely manner & digestible format.
Be knowledgeable of our Retail shop operations with an ability to problem solve and act upon issues reported by the shop floor teams. Using your own experience and drawing from the wider teams you will be both reactive and pro-active in helping to minimise disruption that could affect the shop teams and our customers
Work with the Head of Retail Operations, Area Leaders and Shop Leaders to actively seek to improve our current processes and systems within Retail, and action any procedural changes through effective written communications.
Build, develop and maintain relationships across the business and be the bridge between Retail and other HQ departments, so that our shop teams are always kept up to date with what they need to know.
Assist with key Retail projects such as new shop openings and system implementations.
Support the shop teams with Click and Collect and Local Delivery system setups, troubleshooting and customer queries. Ensure all shop’s receive stock deliveries and are able to place orders on time.
Support the Head of Retail Operations to organise Retail Collectives and other events—sending invites, booking venues, organising hosting, refreshments and logistics.
Own the Retail Calendar and support the Retail team with this.
Assist with stock management and till sheet queries, promote stock accuracy within shops and organise stock takes.
Day to day administration and queries. Including actioning franchise credits, retail bookings, order checks, arranging stock collections, dealing with freezer breakdown issues, ordering and posting shop equipment, system support including EPOS and other company systems.
Be a super user of our retail systems and be able to train and advise shop leaders and their teams when necessary.
Good To Have
- A great verbal and written communicator with a high standard of spoken and written English.
- Be Retail focused and have a good understanding of working on a shop floor.
- Highly organised with an eye for detail.
- Confidence in new situations and the ability to work well under pressure.
- The ability to solve problems and implement practical solutions for shops.
- Be able to work well within a team, have great energy and a flexible ‘can do’ attitude.
- Good level of IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook and a keenness to learn.
