Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Care Assistant to provide personalised support to individuals in their own homes. This role involves delivering high-quality care, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, and comfortable working in a home care environment. Previous experience in care settings or care homes is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. The position offers an enriching opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives while working within a supportive team.

Duties

Providing personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
Supporting clients with medication management and health monitoring as required.
Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring nutritional needs are met.
Offering companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
Managing household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
Organising and coordinating activities that enhance clients’ quality of life.
Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any concerns or changes in health status to relevant professionals.
Driving clients to appointments or social activities when necessary, ensuring safe transportation.

Requirements

Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely.
Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for those new to the sector.
Good understanding of care plans and ability to follow them diligently.
Proficiency in basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Compassionate nature with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently within a live-in environment, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.

Pay: £650.00-£1,200.00 per week
