Grade 4 £27,620 pa to £28,821 pa

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm with a one hour unpaid lunchbreak

40 weeks, term-time only plus a week in school holidays

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Welfare Officer and Student Receptionist to join our administration team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference to students’ wellbeing and daily school experience, while working as part of a dedicated and supportive team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality pastoral care and front-of-house support to students, staff, and visitors. If you are passionate about supporting young people and thrive in a collaborative school environment, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Dormers Wells High School is an 11-18 mixed, multi-cultural academy within the Dormers Wells Learning Trust. “There is a thriving sense of community at this school… Leaders place inclusion at the heart of their work. About you

The successful candidate will:

Be able to communicate effectively and accurately both orally and in writing to children, parents / carers and other external agencies
Be welcoming and professional
Be flexible and hardworking and able to work under pressure
Be able to follow Trust procedures and use their own initiative as required and be a good team player
Have good organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
