Full job description

Ice Cream Assistant (Part-Time/Seasonal)

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individuals to join our growing ice cream business. If you enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude and can stay calm during busy periods, we’d love to hear from you.

Duties include:

Serving ice cream and other products to customers.
Providing excellent customer service.
Taking cash and card payments.
Keeping the serving area clean, tidy and well stocked.
Assisting with setting up and packing away the stall.
Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

Requirements:

Must be able to work well as part of a team.
Must be able to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
Friendly, reliable and punctual.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Previous experience serving ice cream, working in the food industry or in a customer service role is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Working Hours:

Saturday availability is essential until the end of September.
Additional weekday shifts may also be available depending on business needs and weather.

Pay:

National Minimum Wage (based on age).
