We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team based in Alderley Park.

As our Logistics Warehouse Operative, you will be a key member of a small team responsible for day-to-day Warehouse Tasks and completing them in an efficient, timely and profitable way.

Job Title: Warehouse Operative – Logistics

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Alderley Park, Macclesfield, SK10 4TG

Role and Responsibilities as our Logistics Warehouse Operative

Support of regular warehouse supplies, warehousing, picking and internal distribution, and returning of goods. Carrying out monthly stock-takes, invoices, and query management to assist purchasing & finance. Physical Transfer of stock within Alderley Park sites.
Ensure the warehouse ERP system is accurately maintained in terms of stock quantity, and location.
Material Resource Planning for >340 inventory parts & >10,000 SKU’s
Shop floor management with daily morning meetings, provide support on other duties when required
Maintain Good Housekeeping in the store’s area and assist with 5S implementation within the department.

Skills & Competencies (essential)

Must have experience with Warehouse ERP Systems
Team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Previous warehouse operations experience, ideally in laboratories/ pharma
Knowledge of Microsoft applications specifically Excel.
Flexible, enthusiastic, and reliable
A proactive approach to work with the ability to problem-solve issues.
Positive attitude towards continuous improvement projects.

Benefits Package

Pension on completion (but not subject to) of your 3-month probationary period. Contributions 5% for employees (salary sacrifice) and 5% for the employer. The employee can opt to increase their contribution, and the employer will match the increase up to a maximum of 7.5%.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays and additional length of service days awarded on the anniversary, up to a maximum of 30 days
