Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial roles is preferred, and a professional attitude is essential. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry while contributing to a clean and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards
Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust surfaces thoroughly
Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or hazards
Assist with laundry duties when necessary
Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment

Experience

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly desirable
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning products preferred
Experience within the hospitality sector is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are crucial for success in this role
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £12.80-£12.90 per hour
