Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves, identifying new customers, identifying their needs, and providing tailored solutions to foster long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales strategies in the haulage/courier sector, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within a vibrant organisation committed to delivering exceptional service and value to our customers.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through effective communication and personalised service
Identify potential sales opportunities within target markets, including B2B sectors
Conduct negotiations to secure favourable terms while ensuring client satisfaction
Present products and services confidently, highlighting features and benefits tailored to client needs
Manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing deals, ensuring smooth onboarding for new clients
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-up tasks using organisational tools
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customised solutions that meet client requirements
Drive continuous improvement in sales techniques through ongoing training and self-development initiatives

Experience

Proven experience in B2B sales or a similar client-facing role is preferred
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Demonstrated proficiency in IT systems relevant to sales management and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Valid driving licence is desirable, as travel may be required for client meetings or presentations
Effective time management and organisational skills are essential for managing multiple accounts and deadlines efficiently
