Play Centre Supervisor - RH12 3JJ

About us:

Little Street is an award winning play centre for young children, themed as a miniature version of a typical town, inspiring children to explore life in the world around them. Open 7 days a week, our leisure facilities provide a fun and educational play environment.

The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Weekend Supervisor to join our small friendly team for 1-2 days per week. If you enjoy engaging with children, hosting customers and have an eye for detail, this is the ideal role for you. The hours are 09:00-18:00 working either a Saturday or Sunday each week.

On the job training will be provided so this is a great opportunity for someone with customer service experience wanting to take on more responsibility.

Key responsibilities:

Meeting and greeting customers.
Active participant in the role play area, engaging with children & tidying the toys.
Supervising more junior members of the team.
Responsible for managing the teams in the Managers absence.
Making and serving hot drinks.
Taking food orders
Cold Kitchen food / meal preparation
Dealing with customer enquiries on the phone, email and face to face
Light cleaning duties and restaging the play rooms..
Carrying out daily risk assessments
First aider on duty (training provided)
Preparing for and overseeing birthday parties.

Skills & experience required:

Must have some previous customer facing experience.
Enthusiastic about working in child centred environment.
Basic IT skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
Displays ability to use own initiative.
Responsible and reliable.

Salary: £11.25-£13.00 per hour based on age and experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
