Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Gym Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, welcoming environment for all members and staff. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of gym facilities, creating a safe and hygienic space that motivates members to achieve their fitness goals. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help uphold our high standards of cleanliness, contributing to an exceptional workout experience for everyone.

Hours are

Monday to Friday 9am - 10am & 6.45pm - 7.45pm

Saturday & Sunday 10am - 11:30am

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of gym showers, vanity, toilets and communal locker areas only
Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly to prevent the spread of germs and maintain hygiene standards
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste responsibly throughout the facility
Restock cleaning supplies, paper towels, soap dispensers, and other amenities as needed
Conduct routine inspections to identify areas requiring additional attention or maintenance
Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure personal safety and compliance with health regulations
Collaborate with staff to address any cleanliness concerns promptly and efficiently

Experience

Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning techniques and safety procedures
Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in a busy environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained
Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
