37.5 hours per week, term-time plus (40.2 weeks)

Beaudesert Park School, set in 30 acres on Minchinhampton Common, Gloucestershire, is one of the county’s leading independent co-educational day & flexi boarding schools for children aged 3 to 13. We have just merged with Rugby School Group (RSG). Joining RSG is set to deliver a wealth of benefits which further strengthen our position and reputation.

To ensure we continue to attract and retain high calibre staff, to meet our high aspirations and goals, we now have an opportunity for an experienced and highly competent HR Advisor who will have day to day responsibility for the school’s operational HR requirements.

You will be accountable for supporting areas in the full employee life cycle to best practice principles. You will work seamlessly to bring to life HR policy and process and weave it into the fabric of everyday life. You will be the first point of contact for employees ensuring a high standard of accessible HR support in a professional and pragmatic manner.

The key to your success will be your ability to communicate effectively, build strong working relationships with your line managers, be highly organised and adaptable to change. No two days will be the same, however common activities may include recruitment and selection, advising and supporting grievance and disciplinary processes, absence management, contractual changes, analysing and reporting on management information, supporting managers, and designing and delivering training workshops.

The successful candidate is likely to have strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail, be a self-starter with the ability to use initiative and prioritise workload and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
