Full job description

Scapes Group Ltd. is a privately-owned facilities management business providing grounds maintenance services and cleaning and to a range of residential settings.

We are excited to be looking for an energetic and committed Working Supervisor to join our dedicated team and oversee prestigious contracts covering Wallington and surrounding areas. A well-established service delivery team and support structure are in place.

Ensuring we provide a high quality, value for money service that meets or exceeds our clients and their residents expectations at all times. Quality control, staffing and building strong customer relationships will be key to your success. Through support and guidance, we empower our Operations Supervisors to run their teams skilfully and effectively without the need for daily supervision.

The ideal candidate will have previous operational supervisory experience within the FM and Grounds Maintenance sector (ideally with housing associations or similar) and reside within the area as mentioned. You will be a keen team-player with inspiring leadership qualities. You will be an instrumental part of a busy and expanding company.

Key Responsibilities:

Organise staff under your control.
Recruitment and training.
Site quality.
Allocating work schedules with due consideration for staff skills, training, qualifications, and experience.
Maintain Health and Safety Standards on sites.
Follow quality procedures and highlight opportunities for improvement.
Comply with environmental legislation/ regulations.

Essential Requirements:

Experience in a similar role for more than 3 years.
Well-versed in all grounds maintenance methodologies and equipment.
Formal Qualifications would be an advantage.
Full UK manual Driving licence (with no disqualifications).
Self-motivation with the ability to use own initiative.
Excellent communication skills.
Good administration and technology skills.
Able to coordinate a team of operatives of different disciplines to achieve the best results.

Working hours are usually 7.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week.

We offer a competitive salary from £30,784.00 per annum, a company van & phone, 28 days paid holiday, pension scheme and the opportunity to work in a great team within a growing organisation.
