Accounts Assistant

Physiolab Technologies is a small company with an exciting future. We are leading the way in Cold Compression for recovery from surgery or injury. Dealing predominantly with hospitals, patients and sports clubs within the UK. We also sell product internationally.

Based in Milton Keynes we are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join us on a part-time basis.

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the accounting department in various tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of transactions.

Duties

Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
Perform data entry tasks, inputting financial information into accounting software with precision.
Reconcile bank accounts and assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain organised files and documentation related to financial transactions.

Skills

Proficiency in software such as Xero and Microsoft packages - particularly Excel
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Ideally AAT qualified with minimum of 2 years experience.
