Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their visit. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, providing a positive experience for all patrons.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently.
Escort guests to their rooms.
Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, assisting with enquiries and reservations.
Maintain a clean and organised reception area, creating a welcoming environment.
Coordinate with the service team to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
Handle guest complaints or concerns courteously, escalating issues when necessary.
General housekeeping, I.e Preparing rooms for the guest, bedding, general cleaning duties and arranging the laundry to prepare for future guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication skills with an approachable manner.
Knowledge of guest services and excellent phone etiquette.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly, professional demeanour with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory. This role provides an engaging work environment where your interpersonal skills will shine, contributing to memorable guest experiences and supporting the overall success of our establishment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Part-time upon request, Apprenticeship, Seasonal

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
