Reach Education and Employment is a new, vibrant comunity interest company committed to moving people with learning disabilities and/or autism into employment. Due to successful contract acquisitions we are looking for a Job Coach to join our team and to help us start to change lives.

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Job Coach to inspire and empower individuals on their journey toward employment success. In this vital role, you will serve as a mentor, guide, and motivator, helping clients develop essential skills, build confidence, and achieve their career goals. Your energetic approach will foster a positive environment where learners feel supported and motivated to reach their full potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while honing your mentoring and teaching abilities.

Responsibilities

Undertake initial assessments to paint a picture of learner strengths and needs to ignite their journey
Provide personalised coaching to clients, focusing on their strengths and areas for growth to prepare them for employment opportunities
Develop tailored action plans that include skill-building activities, interview preparation, and workplace readiness strategies
Offer ongoing mentoring, encouragement, and support to help clients overcome challenges and stay motivated throughout their job search process
Collaborate with employers, community organisations, families, carers and other stakeholders to identify suitable job placements and training opportunities
Track client progress through documentation and regular check-ins to ensure continuous development and goal achievement
Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes confidence, independence, and self-advocacy among learners

Skills

Experience in mentoring or coaching roles with a strong ability to motivate others
Experience working with children or young adults in educational or community settings
Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with learners from diverse backgrounds
Ability to develop creative solutions tailored to individual needs and learning styles
Organized with the capacity to manage multiple client cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

We offer 25 days holiday a year (3 to be taken during Christmas shut down).

Pay: £27,000.00 per year
