We are a gender neutral, judgment free salon located in the heart of the Bedminster Community, in a great area on the outside of the Clean Air Zone. We have a large established client base, as well as a waiting list for services, and so are looking for a Front of House Team to uphold our excellent client care.

As the Front Of House, you will be responsible for welcoming guests into our salon, as well as guiding them through the checkout process at the end of their visit. You will ensure that the client has their next appointment booked and will take payment for goods and services. You will be responsible for coordinating the salon diaries, client records, organising information and ensuring that all notes, pictures and relevant data is updated after every appointment, to ensure consistency across different departments. You will also be responsible for managing incoming calls and client queries, as well as undertaking health and safety checks.
We are looking for someone who is organise, mature and able to work confidently on their own initiative. You must have a positive can do attitude, be confident in communication and IT systems, as well as have a good level of literacy in order to respond quickly and efficiently to administrative tasks. You must also be experienced and confident in enforcing Salon Policies and managing conflict, as well as being reliable and and able to support others.
As we are a Judgment Free salon, you must have a good knowledge and understanding of the LGBTQ+ and Neuro-divergent communities, and uphold these values of the salon and brand.
This role requires Saturday working and so please only apply if you are able to meet this: Applicants who can not work weekends will not be considered.
Other Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all areas of the salon are kept clean, tidy and operational at all times - This could include ensuring there are towels and gowns are available for clients due in.
- Keeping up to date with Product and Service knowledge to allow for upselling and answer any customer queries, as well as make recommendations to guests for take home retail.
- Supporting the Hair and Business Teams in the client journey as well with any administrative tasks, such as recording notes from consults and appointment notes.
- Managing customer after care such as seven day follow up calls/messages, reviews and any complaint handling and expectations.
- Utilising and overseeing all Business Systems, including Trello, Phorest Booking Platform, Email account, and Google Docs/Spreadsheets, etc - Proficient in Mac Systems
- Ensuring effective communication across the team, feeding back key information to the Business Support Manager.
- Ensuring communication is relayed to the team in an efficient manner.
- Completing Health & Safety, and Fire Checks weekly and monthly.
- Ensuring Confidentiality in line with GDPR.
