Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Barber to join our team with an immediate start available. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Barbering and delivering excellent customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a professional environment where your skills and creativity are valued. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality barbering services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere within the salon.

Duties

Deliver professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to clients’ preferences
Consult with clients to understand their desired look and provide expert advice on hair care and styling options
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station in accordance with health and safety standards
Build rapport with clients to encourage repeat business and foster a friendly environment
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in barbering and hair styling
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise client flow
Uphold high standards of hygiene, including sanitising tools and equipment after each use

Experience

Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar hair styling role
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
Demonstrable expertise in hair styling, cutting, and grooming techniques
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional advice
Knowledge of current trends in barbering and hair fashion is desirable
Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
