Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable CSCS Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse building projects, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring smooth daily operations on-site. As a vital team member, you will be actively involved in various physical tasks, helping to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help drive project success from start to finish.

Duties

Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
Support tradespeople by handling materials, tools, and equipment needed for roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and more
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to aid in construction activities
Help with the installation of formwork, or temporary structures as required
Carry out basic carpentry tasks under supervision
Follow schematics and safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance and minimize hazards
Contribute to site cleanliness by maintaining organized work areas and disposing of waste properly

Qualifications

Prior construction experience or familiarity with building sites is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques
Basic understanding of construction site set ups.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Commitment to safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
