About the Role
Are you looking to start your career in publishing and digital education? This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to join Oxford Education and gain valuable experience working with high-quality digital learning content across our innovative education platforms. You'll play an important role in managing the end-to-end content publishing lifecycle, ensuring content is accurately configured, published, maintained and retired in line with agreed quality standards and delivery schedules.
Working closely with editorial, product and platform teams, you'll support the delivery of engaging digital products while developing your technical and publishing expertise. The role combines content operations, quality assurance and problem-solving, offering exposure to technologies such as XML, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You'll help test and publish content, investigate issues, use Jira to track and resolve bugs, and ensure products meet quality and acceptance standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is eager to learn, develop new skills and build a strong foundation in digital publishing. You'll receive support to grow your knowledge of publishing processes, content management systems and digital workflows while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. By analysing content performance, supporting colleagues and identifying opportunities to improve processes and automation, you'll help shape the future of Oxford Education's digital platforms while developing a rewarding career in publishing.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

About You

Essential:
Experience of working with Microsoft Office suite.
Experience of CMS data entry.
Experience managing digital content through its lifecycle.
Ability to prioritise competing demands and manage multiple workstreams.
Experience of working in cross-functional teams.
Experience supporting users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience working with digital platforms, content management systems or publishing workflows.
Ability to analyse issues and implement practical solutions.

Desirable:
Experience working with content models, structured content and metadata frameworks.
Understanding of project management methods and tools.
Understanding of content delivery platforms.
Experience using Jira, Confluence and digital publishing technologies.
Experience using content analytics to inform operational improvements.
Understanding of XML, HTML and structured content.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
