Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and stock levels.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments.
Conduct materials handling tasks, including sorting and storing items in designated areas.
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently when required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with picking packing processes and heavy lifting techniques is advantageous.
Experience using warehouse management systems is a plus.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
