What We’re Looking For

Minimum 1 years of experience in commercial soft landscaping although further training will be given
Must live within 5 miles of the specified area
Right To Work in the UK is essential
Full clean UK driving licence preferred
Valid CSCS card desirable
Preferably an NVQ or equivalent in horticulture or land-based training.

What You’ll Do

As a Landscape Construction Operative, you will be part of a small team responsible for delivering high-quality landscaping projects. Our team structure means we cannot operate effectively without full participation from every member, so reliability, punctuality and consistent attendance are fundamental requirements of the role. You will also demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, sound health and safety awareness and enthusiasm for horticulture.

Main works include:

· Soft landscaping – Assisting with specimen tree planting, staking and guying trees, shrub planting, setting out, turfing, seeding, soil placement, soil preparation, mulching, pruning and plant protection.

· Hard landscaping – Assisting with planter construction / install, urban tree pit installation, green wall / trellis systems, timber works, garden features, street furniture, wildlife/ habitat features, geotextile installation, minor groundworks and pathway / surfacing.
