Pay Rate: £39,028.14
Grade: RCS P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - 45 hours a week - 9 hour shifts
Location: Hatfield, AL10 9TR

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a prison. You will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process if you are to be successful for this position.

We're now looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

You will delivering canteen supplies, ambient, chilled and frozen food into the prison services which is palletised.
Pushing and Pulling dollies up to 200kg
There will be around 3 to 4 drops per day.
depending on which route you are allocated.
MANUAL HANDLING WILL BE REQUIRED.
Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
Regular completion of vehicle checks
Manual handling of customer products

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Can provide three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)
Are comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside inmates
Are able to work in a role that requires manual handling and regular heavy lifting
Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
Will have 12 months recent driving experience of HGV vehicle is essential
