Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our 2-person team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles and possess a keen eye for detail.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas, using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are cleaned to company standards.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties to management promptly.
Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes.

Required

Full UK Driving license (Essential)
Proven experience in Commercial/ Residential cleaning or Janitorial work.
Based in Chelmsford
Fluency in English (To a professional working proficiency)

Key Skills

Experience with End-of-Tenancy cleaning.
Experience using a Carpet Cleaning Machine.
Experience with Cleaning Ovens.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards and confidentiality.
