Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Sauna Assistant / Operator to join our team on a casual, self employed basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sauna environment, ensuring guests receive exceptional service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to work in a wellness focused setting, providing guests with a relaxing experience while supporting the smooth operation of our sauna facilities.
Duties
- Welcome guests and provide information about the sauna services and facilities
- Manage the daily operation of the sauna, including temperature control and cleanliness standards
- Ensure guest safety and comfort throughout their visit
- Maintain hygiene standards by sanitising equipment and communal areas regularly
- Assist with guest queries, reservations, and check ins to deliver excellent guest services
- Monitor occupancy levels and manage bookings efficiently
- Support management with organisational tasks as required to ensure smooth daily operations
- Promote a relaxing environment by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in management, hospitality, or guest services is advantageous but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work independently and responsibly in a self employed capacity
- Knowledge of wellness or spa environments is desirable but not mandatory
- A proactive attitude towards safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
