Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Painter/Decorator Foreman to lead our decorating projects. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, organisation, and execution of painting and decorating works on various sites, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with management experience to take charge of a team and deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate painting and decorating teams on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
Plan work schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress throughout each project
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and project delivery
Maintain high standards of workmanship, colour matching, surface preparation, and finishing
Manage procurement of materials and tools required for each project
Conduct site inspections regularly to assess progress and quality of work
Provide training, guidance, and supervision to team members to develop their skills and ensure productivity

Requirements

Proven experience in painting and decorating with a strong understanding of various techniques and materials
Previous management or supervising experience in a similar role
Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera P6 is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
Good communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, suppliers, and team members
A commitment to health & safety regulations and best practices in construction environments
Relevant qualifications or certifications in painting/decorating are preferred but not essential

Pay: £1,000.00-£1,500.00 per week
