Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to creating a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and organisation to contribute to a professional setting.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas whilst also completing tasks within designated timeframes.
Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and efficiently
Follow cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are maintained consistently
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties to management
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

What We're Looking For:

Full UK Driving license (Essential)
Based in Essex, Ideally Chelmsford
Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment such as a Carpet Cleaning Machine is advantageous
Experience with certain types of cleaning such as Oven Cleaning or End-of-Tenancy Cleaning is advantageous
Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work.

What We Offer:

Paid weekly via PAYE Starting at £100 a day (Every Tuesday with a week in arrears)
Immediate start
Uniform and Cleaning resources and tools all supplied by the employer
Company Van & Fuel supplied (Must pick up and drop off at CM1)
